Grow Out Manager Trainee bei Cooper Farms

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a Grow Out Manager Trainee to join our team in Oakwood. 

SHIFT HOURS: Typically Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, but will vary dependent upon farm needs, weekend work may be included.  

STARTING HOURLY RATE:  $19.70 with the potential of increasing to $21.20 after 90 days 

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job functions include:

• Monitoring birds daily for signs of disease 
• Monitoring ventilation and adjusting controls as needed to maintain acceptable litter and air quality 
• Administering medicines and vaccines as directed 
• Monitoring feed schedule to maintain the desired target bird weights
• Ensuring correct rations of feed for bins 
• General farm chores, including but not limited to: laundry, taking out trash, keeping paperwork and files up to date and accurate, etc.
