Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Travel Position
Location: Georgetown, TX
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Nights
Pay: $2,221.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Georgetown, TX. The L&D RN will provide expert care and support to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods, ensuring safe and positive experiences for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to any complications.
• Administer medications and pain management interventions as prescribed.
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries, maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
• Support and educate patients and families on the birthing process, recovery, and newborn care.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in compliance with facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP and other facility-required certifications as applicable).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong clinical skills, including fetal monitoring and emergency response.
• Compassionate communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.
