We are seeking a Part-Time Driver & Sitter Needed in North Andover, MA (01845)
A lovely family is looking for a Part-Time Driver & Sitter in North Andover (near Sargent School) for their two children, 10 year old daughter and 5 year old son. Primary care is focused on driving their daughter to her activities on a daily basis, while also looking to find occasional evening care, and backup support when a parent is traveling.
This role may be shared among multiple caregivers to best meet the client’s diverse care needs.
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Position: Ongoing (long-term, flexible schedule)
Days Needed: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday + occasional date nights and travel coverage

Hours:
- Monday & Thursday: 1 hour (afternoon driving, approx. 3–4 PM)
- Wednesday: 3 PM–6 PM (driving from home to activities)
- Date Nights: Occasional date nights(flexible)
- Travel Coverage: 1–5 hours as needed (afternoon/evening care; some mornings if available)
Rate: $30/hour (mileage included)
2 children: 10 and 5 years old

Responsibilities
- Safely drive child/children to and from local activities (within ~10 minutes radius).
- Communicate clearly with parents regarding schedule and needs.
- Provide engaging care during occasional date nights or school closures (as needed) – play, light cooking (reheating or simple prep), bedtime routine.
- Assist during travel periods by providing after-school care and maintaining consistent routines.
- Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying up, encouraging kids to help).
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum 2 years of childcare experience with similar age groups
- CPR certified
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and can provide proof of car insurance
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Strong communication and punctuality
- Ability to pass background, social media, and Motor Vehicle Check
- Can provide two professional childcare-related references
Compensation
This position pays $30 per hour and the family is looking for a minimum of 3 hours per week. This position is ongoing, long term and the family is seeking someone to start as soon as possible.
