Your Challenge

EXP is currently searching for a Project Manager to join our team supporting our U.S. Transportation South group across our Florida locations.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and qualify PR opportunities, media partnerships, and strategic communications initiatives.
  • Lead the development and execution of proposals, presentations, and campaigns in response to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee internal and external communications strategies aligned with EXP’s brand and client goals.
  • Manage multiple PR and communications projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, engineering, client services) to support integrated messaging.
  • Apply risk management strategies to protect brand reputation and ensure message consistency.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars, press releases, media kits, and content plans.
  • Ensure all communications meet brand standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with design and technical teams to align messaging with project milestones and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior communications staff and provide guidance on best practices and professional development.
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews of all public-facing materials and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

 

The Skills and Knowledge You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or strategic marketing.
  • Proven experience managing PR campaigns in transportation, planning, or related industries.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong media relations and crisis communication experience.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-profile projects.
  • Familiarity with digital communications platforms, analytics tools, and media monitoring software.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and external partners to shape messaging and strategy.
