Inventory Control Specialist 2nd Shift (Saturday-Wednesday) bei 511 Tactical

Under the direction of the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Inventory Control Specialist helps keep our Distribution Center running smoothly and accurately. This role supports daily inventory accuracy, researches discrepancies, and ensures our warehouse teams and customers get what they need, when they need it.

What You’ll Do

• Research and resolve missing inventory for customer orders

• Make inventory adjustments and assist with SKU conversions

• Verify transactions and inventory movements in Dynamics WMS

• Backorder items as needed and communicate with Customer Service on shortages

• Operate RF scanners and update counts in real time

• Create license plates and carton labels as needed

• Assist with daily cycle counts and recordkeeping

• Support 5S initiatives and maintain high standards for safety, accuracy, and productivity

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification required)

• Help with SKU relocations to improve picking efficiency

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment

• Prior experience in inventory control preferred

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Dynamics AX (or similar WMS) and RF scanners

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

• Ability to read and follow written instructions, correspondence, and memos in English

• Certified Forklift Operator

Pay Range: $16.50-$19.60 per hour based on experience
