RESPONSIBILITIES AS THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES:
- Oversee human capital operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, to foster a high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with federal and state HR regulations, including workers' compensation, OSHA, and FMLA requirements, in healthcare or innovative sectors
- Develop and implement human capital policies tailored to our organization's growth and innovation goals
- Collaborating with talent acquisition to recruit and onboard highly qualified team members.
- Manage employee performance and disciplinary matters, ensuring alignment with organizational values and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES POSITION:
- Extensive knowledge of HR regulations, including workers' compensation, OSHA, and FMLA standards, with a focus on healthcare or high-growth industries
- Proven leadership skills and experience driving human capital strategies for high-performing teams
- Expertise in compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, and managing employee performance and disciplinary matters
- Experience with Word and Excel is required.
- Must have a willingness to become proficient with isolved, Cedar Haven's payroll/HR system and to act as payroll backup when necessary.
- Must be committed to increasing Cedar Haven's use of technology and paperless systems.

WORK SCHEDULE
Our administrative team works from 7:30am to 4 or 8am to 4:30 each day and takes two short breaks and one lunch break.
