Job Description: As a member of an interdisciplinary team and under the general direction of the Family Treatment Centre Manager and clinical supervisor the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking residential inpatient services for addiction by implementing services consistent with the current Provincial Clinical Model for Alcohol and Drug Services and the philosophy, objectives and standards set by the Family Treatment Centre. Responsibilities will include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counseling sessions to clients and their children in an inpatient setting. This position will be expected to assess individual/ family and group needs and implement plans to help clients reach their goals. As per Section 48 of the Saskatchewan Human Rights code the Employer has determined that only female candidates will be accepted for this position.

- Knowledge in substance abuse and addictions, including cause and effect

- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge in human behaviour, group dynamics and mental health needs of adults
