Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and leadership skills, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will oversee nursing staff, coordinate patient care activities, and serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers. This role is pivotal in maintaining clinical excellence and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

Required:
* BLS and ACLS
* 3 + years Outpatient/Ambulatory exp
* Epic experience
* CA license

Preferred

• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in clinical settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or acute care facilities.
• Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and acute pain management practices.
• Familiarity with medical-surgical nursing principles and memory care protocols.
• Experience in ophthalmology or spinal tap procedures is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide nursing teams.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:45 - 17:00)

First-timers accepted: Yes

Locals accepted: Yes with a 50 minute commute or less

Job Duties:
Provide detailed information to patients regarding test preparations, time of patients scheduled arrival, and any other directional information needed; take appropriate action in responding to questions from patients in a timely manner; obtain prior authorizations and entering surgery referral requests; ensure patients have pre-surgical medical clearance and results are received prior to surgery; review consents and facilitate pre-op and post-op appointments with patient
