About the Senior Analyst Position:

Senior Analysts work with team members to provide economic, financial and business strategy consulting to law firms, corporations and government agencies. Senior Analysts are responsible for performing research and analysis and communicating findings and conclusions in support of case objectives. Senior Analysts may work on multiple projects at a time across multiple practice areas and industries. Senior Analysts have the opportunity to direct the work of analysts as well as train analysts , interns and temps. Responsibilities and work experiences may include:

  • Quantitative analyses: you will analyze economic, financial, and healthcare data using algorithms and statistical programming in Java, Python, R, SAS, Stata, VBA, and other programs; develop data analyses using statistical methods and analytical tools including econometric estimation of models, survival analysis, and machine learning; and create dynamic visualizations to rapidly explore data and models.
  • Qualitative research: you will conduct market and industry research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; you will review, synthesize and apply technical accounting guidance and interpretive literature; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis.
  • Preparation of reports: you will assist in reviewing and summarizing reports and client documents; draft expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda; and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings
  • Team collaboration: you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients and academic experts
  • Firm-building initiatives: you will contribute to firm life by participating in recruiting, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives; pro bono work; training new analysts, interns and temps; and other business development activities
  • Training and team coordination: you will train and mentor new analysts, interns, and temporary staff; and may delegate, coordinate, or oversee their work to support project and case team success

  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects; 1-3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Strong quantitative and research skills, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; the ability to conduct targeted research to solve the economic, financial, accounting, and business challenges our clients face; and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
  • A strong academic track record, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Analysis Group will provide immigration support to qualified candidates with STEM degrees and at least 36 months of post-graduation work authorization. Candidates must have valid post-graduation work authorization to join.

Analysis Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$165,000. Employees are eligible for a discretionary yearly bonus that depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
