POSITION GOAL: Maintain the health and well being of Student Athletes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. The Full-time and Part-time Athletic Trainer will develop a daily coverage schedule for the season in accordance with the schedule provided by the Student Activities Coordinator prior to season startup. An Athletic trainer is to be scheduled daily from Activity Bus scheduled leave time to practice/game completion. The Full-time Athletic Trainer will be scheduled for a maximum of 40 hours per week and the Part-time Athletic Trainer will be scheduled for a maximum of 32.5 hours per week.
2. Available daily until all athletic events have been completed.
3. Coverage for all activities; if there are multiple activities on a given day that cannot be covered by one trainer, both Athletic Trainers are to be on duty.
4. Responsible for organization of training room.
5. The Full-time Athletic Trainer will provide the Athletic Director with a completed supplies requisition form for the upcoming school year by April 30th.
6. Maintain an injury log and provide serious injury reports to the Athletic Director.
7. The Full-time Athletic Trainer will maintain a monthly referral list; this is to include doctors, hospitals, etc.
8. Provide teams with water and medical kits.
9. The Full-time Athletic Trainer will work in conjunction with the physician and EMT’s (if on site) to determine the procedure and handling of an injury.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.
1. Certified Trainer
2. Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
3. Athletic Training, coaching/teaching experience.
4. Submission of PA School Personnel Health form.
5. Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1.Approximately October 28- December 23
2. Salary based on experience.
