Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions. Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Compiles data, allocates costs, prepares reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, assembly or other operating expenses, and analyzes financial information. Prepares income and balance sheet, profit and loss, consolidated and other accounting statements. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures. May design, modify, install and/or maintain general accounting systems.

Works independently under regular direction and guidance on non-routine tasks requiring judgement and initiative. Standard processes are provided and peer review may be required. Less guidance and direction provided as proficiency increases. May provide guidance and assistance to support level employees.

Communicates with contacts typically within own team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to understand and reach agreement.

Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized. Expected to propose solutions to problems for others review.

Qualifications:
Requires broad theoretical job knowledge. Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Must have the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance could be required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is 55,500-102,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
