PURPOSE
This role is part of the integrated Technology & Engineering (T&E) organization and drives SITA's Technology & Engineering internal and external communications focused on content creation across multiple channels to position T&E and SITA and its message strongly strengthening our brand and reputation. This role drives our brand visibility and relevance strengthening SITA?s profile and reputation with targeted media coverage honing the SITA story and narrative internally for our employees and externally for the press industry and target audiences aligned to SITA?s strategy. This role connects the SITA story to the trends that shape the industry and creates and implements an internal communications plan that engages our employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates strong messaging and content internally and externally to hone the T&E and SITA narrative for our employees to drive engagement and to strengthen our brand and reputation placing SITA in a leadership position in the marketplace.
- Creates content across multiple channels and events for different parts of the business working with many stakeholders across the organization.
- Builds brand visibility and relevance through various channels of communications and strong clear messaging.
- Develops and manages an internal communications strategy which drives understanding and commitment to SITA's corporate strategy amongst employees.
- Ensures quality communications for internal programs and change management initiatives with related messaging FAQs Board updates as required.
- Leads proactive communication with a broad range of audiences across the marketplace (including media analysts consultants partners and suppliers and governments) to ensure knowledge of SITA and key position in the industry.
- Produces and updates the annual company PR plan and implementation plan for PR programs working with regional and corporate marketing which must demonstrate ROI.
- Drives SITA's global public relations and communications activities to develop a positive image for the company both internally and externally and manages SITA's reputation
- Plans PR programs including supporting speaking opportunities to establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between SITA and its key audiences plus ensuring achievement of maximum ROI.
- Sets and leverages clear metrics to assess efficiency of initiatives e.g. CTOR Employee survey focus groups regional panels etc. -Leads and motivates a high-performing team
EXPERIENCE
10 years of professional experience including: -Marketing experience in either marketing operations communications (in English). -PR/Journalism product marketing and/or agency -Telecomms & IT experience is a plus. -The Air transport or related industries is a plus. -Worked in a complex international/multi-cultural and fast-moving environment.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
-A university degree in Marketing/Business/Economy/Political Science/Journalism with a master's degree in Business Administration Marketing and/or Communications.
