If so, Chicken N Pickle is looking for a Senior Assistant Kitchen Manager to help lead our Back of House crew to greatness.

In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with the Executive Kitchen Manager to guide our scratch kitchen, keep food quality top-notch, and make sure every detail—prep, orders, inventory, budgets, and safety—is dialed in. You’ll mentor and develop the BOH team, oversee catering and events, and ensure we bring the heat (and the hospitality) every single day.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead daily BOH operations, including prep, line checks, sanitation, and recipe execution.
  • Partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager to manage ordering, COGS, inventory, and budgets.
  • Train, coach, and develop BOH team members through 1:1s, pre-shifts, and recognition programs.
  • Oversee schedules, staffing needs, and labor management to keep service flowing.
  • Support catering and event execution with the same energy and precision as daily service.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, compliance checks, and operational recaps.
  • Champion Chicken N Pickle’s culture by fostering teamwork, inclusion, and recognition.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $71,000

Requirements

  • Experience as a high-volume Kitchen Manager or Sr. Sous Chef
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends and techniques
  • Proficient in BOH systems (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to follow CNP and regulatory sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor setting, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary certification or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus
