TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to join our Raleigh, North Carolina Quality Assurance Team.

Summary: Provides day-to-day technical support for all toll system operations including assisting the project and support teams with system triage and data analytics.  Execution of periodic system performance evaluations and audits on a daily, weekly, or monthly cycles to ensure system stability and Key Performance Indicator compliance.  Support deployment and maintenance teams for software related maintenance, facilitating system tuning parameters, and ensure post deployment issues are resolved given scheduled tests, data analytics, and evaluation of reports.  Assist the project team during major system installation and commissioning activities from a test plan generation, execution, and reporting perspective.  Provide project related data and reports to the project team to facilitate daily operations and reconciliation efforts to ensure system compliance.

Essential (Mandatory) Skills and Responsibilities:

  • This is an onsite position for the TransCore Raleigh North Carolina Office.
  • Execute daily, weekly, monthly system and special request analysis and audits.
  • Possesses strong SQL and Reporting skills with a strong knowledge of database query, data retrieval, and data analysis.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and other related analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail driven with a commitment to data accuracy and timely delivery.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 1 – 3 years of analytical experience for complex technical system or,
  • Equivalent associates, or BS technical degree with required skill set.
  • Proficient experience of data analytics, reporting, and auditing techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of hardware, software testing or test fundamentals.
  • Ability to work a normal weekly schedule with occasional weeknight or weekend 

Additional Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Automation or scripting skills.
  • Power BI, Tableau, or related data visualization experience.
  • General knowledge of MS Active Directory.
  • Disaster Recovery scenario and use case generation and validation.
