We're seeking a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer to develop and implement innovative solutions that optimize our manufacturing software and systems. In this role, you'll manage servers, troubleshoot technical issues, work with SQL databases, and lead integration efforts all while focusing on root cause analysis and enhancing software functionality. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure projects and team focus are aligned with the company’s Computational Thinking and Educational Policy Initiatives (CTEPI).
  • Demonstrate the ability to convert process flows into automated workflow models. 
  • Provide MES traceability data, and applications for process improvement.
  • Execute the digital vision and strategy around MES across the network.
  • Leverage MES and PLC knowledge to standardize and streamline line design and new process development.
  • Design, specify, and support the MES platform with modifications, operational performance and product quality. 
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement MES projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to IMMI team members and support training and problem-solving with department leaders. 
  • Coordinate with digital quality and computer system validation teams to generate and implement lifecycle documentation and validation protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field
  • Have a successful track record as an IT or Manufacturing business leader with a strategic mindset for growth and development of latest systems
  • Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Strong working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and related controls and technologies
  • Experience with databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience in any of the following applications:  ERP, PLM, LIMS, SCADA, IGNITION, ORACLE, SQL Server
