Overview

Taurus Industrial Group’s Specialty Services division is seeking a Project Manager based in the Pittsburgh Metro (Greensburg) area to support field service operations across the North, Northeast, and Midwest regions. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with experience in industrial maintenance and specialty services project management who thrives in fast-paced environments, working directly with clients and field teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute field service projects in power generation, petrochemical, refining, and heavy industrial facilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with field technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of services such as bolting, torquing, machining, induction heating, hot tapping, and related specialty work.
• Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to P&L targets and financial controls.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present project reports, updates, and close-out documentation for internal and client review.
• Ensure all work is performed with the highest regard for safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• Support resource allocation, equipment logistics, and regional coverage to meet growing client demands.
• Assist in developing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services.

Recommended Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance, field services, or specialty services project management experience.
  • Prior experience with power plants, refineries, petrochemical, or heavy industrial clients strongly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
• Technical/Operational Skills:
  • Knowledge of bolting, machining, induction heating, hot tapping, and related industrial services.
  • Strong financial and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
• Leadership Skills:
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse field teams in dynamic environments.
• Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel regionally (North, Northeast, Midwest) as projects require.
