IN OFFICE LOCATION.
POSITION SUMMARY
Our multi-state calibration service business immediately needs a Quality Assistant (QA). The role will be responsible for supporting various quality operations, procedures, and document control. The QA will assist in inspection, measurements, and testing to ensure safety and specification standards. Additional duties include analyzing and evaluating materials, the work environment, and components. Document inspection outcomes and maintain historical records of quality assurance activities. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and approve certificates.
Calculate uncertainties based on established uncertainty budgets.
Amend certificates.
Process calibration certificates from vendors.
Collect and prepare standards for calibration.
Inspect standards and generate functional check forms.
Analysis of results, including statements of conformity or opinions and interpretations
Investigating complaints and negative feedback
Ensure that the quality policy statement/mission statement is being met.
Work with impartiality and perform the job with utmost integrity.

CORE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
2 years of office experience, preferably with an ISO-certified organization
Interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet all deadlines.
Exhibit a high level of professional conduct, integrity, and accountability.
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using wise judgment that is consistent with policies and procedures, regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to be on your feet while performing job requirements.
Ability to sit for periods depending on the job requirements.
Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding.
Ability to use a computer for periods.
Ability to exert up to 10-20 pounds occasionally.
Ability to balance, reach, and grasp as needed for the job.
Ability to crouch, grasp, and lift products above the shoulders to lift boxes and products from the floor properly.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week.
This position is located in the office.
