Product Manager - Financial Crime (Fraud Prevention)

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our Fraud Prevention initiatives. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our customers and assets by developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy to combat evolving fraud threats across our diverse range of financial products and jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our security posture, drive innovation, and work at the forefront of financial crime prevention. This role is ideal for someone passionate about staying ahead of trends, adapting quickly to changing regulations and emerging fraud patterns and also keen to learn new developments such as LLMs/RAGs.
You will work closely with the Financial Crime Prevention Domain Product Lead.
This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of operations, compliance, and technology. You’ll partner with engineering, data, business stakeholders and third party providers to prevent fraud in a regulated business.
What you’ll do
- Deep Dive into Fraud Landscapes: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging fraud trends, attacker methodologies, and industry best practices in B2B financial crime prevention.
- Unearthing Vulnerabilities: Be proactive and work closely with different product, tech, data domains and business stakeholders and pinpoint where the fraudster might strike.
- Define and Own the Fraud Prevention Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear, compelling product vision and strategy for fraud prevention, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics, performance metrics, and fraud intelligence to inform product decisions, measure success, and identify areas for optimization. Prioritize product initiatives that deliver maximum impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Especially when discussing with senior stakeholders or writing user stories, documentation and articulating the requirements with tech teams.
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of product management experience (last 3+ years in Fraud Prevention domain-must have), ideally in fintech, regtech, or complex B2B environments.
- Be technically thorough; able to collaborate deeply with engineering on implementation details, APIs, edge cases, data flows to ensure production readiness.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, breaking down complex processes into clear deliverables.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in iterative, fast-paced environments.
- Experience working on Predictive / Generative AI models is a big plus.
