About the Role:
The Night Warehouse Supervisor is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of our warehouse at Bond Distributing. This role ensures that all warehouse activities are conducted efficiently and safely while meeting the demands of our wholesale trade industry. The supervisor will lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and best practices for warehouse management. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts our ability to deliver quality service to our customers and maintain operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
· Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
· Forklift certification.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor inventory levels throughout the pick to reduce and mitigate any potential short picks.
· Own the daily truck return process to ensure inventory accuracy and proper return of undelivered product.
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff during the night shift.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
· Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse operations, including productivity and inventory accuracy.
· Communicate any inventory discrepancies to the daytime inventory operations team for investigation.
