Warehouse Picker Job Summary: Order pulling, packaging, and assembly of accurately picked orders for delivery and the put away of received material into correct locations.
- Meet or exceed the expectations of our customers by providing a positive customer experience.
- Use care in the handling of all materials and/or products.
- Gather materials/products in the warehouse and/or yard to package/assemble for shipment. Accurately retrieve and load orders per RF direction.
- Ensure correct shipments by verifying order details.
- Identify and correct errors from prior processes.
- Perform required daily cycle counts.
- Maintain proper signage and storage of materials in the warehouse.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain reliable attendance.
Warehouse Picker Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with standard office equipment.
- Computer literacy and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of six months of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the Plumbing/Waterworks industry is a plus.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Must be able to pass an operator exam and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
