Night Shift Tube Laser Operator – 4x10 Workweek
Location: Batesville, IN
Med-Mizer is seeking a Night Shift Tube Laser Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining tube laser equipment to produce high-quality precision parts used in our medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Enjoy a consistent 4-day workweek with 3-day weekends!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tube laser equipment to cut and process metal parts to specification.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Perform machine setups, adjustments, and quality checks.
Ensure parts meet quality standards through inspections and measurements.
Monitor machine performance and perform routine maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 35–50 lbs.
Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms for handling tools, parts, or machinery.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as needed.
