We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to join our team. The main role of this position is to maintain laundry and linen services in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized way. You will also be responsible for caring for laundry equipment and using cleaning chemicals properly, following the guidelines set by the Director of Resident Services.

What you'll do:
Follow daily laundry schedules and instructions from the Director or Laundry Assistant.
Load, deliver, and collect laundry carts throughout the facility, including apartment buildings, main center, pool areas, and day programs.
Maintain a hazard-free work area by cleaning up spills, organizing supplies, and keeping pathways clear.
Follow safety procedures to prevent the spread of germs and maintain high standards of sanitation.
Wash, dry, fold, and sort residents’ personal clothing with care.
Clean and disinfect laundry carts regularly.
Attend staff meetings, training, and in-service programs.

What's required of you:
Ability to handle laundry and operate machines safely and efficiently.
Able to follow both written and verbal instructions, including mixing and using cleaning products correctly.
High school diploma or GED required.
Stand for 7+ hours per shift.
Walk for up to 7 hours a day.
Lift or move items weighing between 25-50 pounds.
Frequently twist, bend, squat, and kneel as needed for job duties.
