WHO YOU ARE
Our Set-Up position is responsible for overseeing the safety processes of the facility including change-overs from one type of handle to another.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Our woodmill is located in McClure, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safety polices and procedures are followed in all aspects of machine operation and product handling.
Reporting of safety incidents and investigation of malfunctions of equipment/machines.
Run some of the departments products including understanding material and machine requirements.
Perform operator fundamentals including simple problem solving including ability to clear routine machine jams, identify and fix routine/repetitive problems, notify appropriate support person if unable to resolve problem themselves.
Perform visual and simple mechanical quality inspection of products being produced.
Perform routine maintenance as directed (may include lubricate, adjustments, inspection, etc.).
Perform routine set-ups involving one-to-three inter-dependent variables in a timely fashion.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Address rework as required.
Regularly perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a normal pace; occasionally perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a rapid pace.
Demonstrate the understanding of the material and machine requirements to be able to produce at productivity rates consistently at 95% or higher.
Ability to be flexible to perform other duties, as requested/required during machine down-time.
Work/communicates in a professional manner with all business associates.
Follow all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, housekeeping, reporting labor & production, continuous improvement activities, etc.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
