How you’ll make an impact
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to support the day-to-day social presence of SiriusXM. You’ll help create and publish engaging, real-time content that connects with fans, celebrates artists, and showcases our unique content across platforms.
You’ll play a key role in bringing the energy of SiriusXM to life online. By combining cultural fluency with strong content-creation skills, you’ll help grow our reach, deepen fan connections, and ensure SiriusXM content is part of the social conversation every day.
What you’ll do
● Support daily content creation, publishing, and community engagement.
● Assist in maintaining a social content calendar aligned with music releases, guest moments, events, and SiriusXM programming.
● Produce creative assets—photo, video, memes, reels, and short-form content—that resonate with fans and reflect the tone of content.
● Monitor social trends and platform features to surface fresh ideas and ensure content feels timely and relevant.
● Work closely with programming, on-air talent, artists, guests, and marketing teams to amplify key moments and campaigns.
● Track and report on social performance, pulling key takeaways and audience insights to help guide content decisions.
● Stay in tune with content connected to the community.
What you’ll need
● 1–3 years of experience coordinating or supporting social media accounts for a brand, media company, or entertainment property.
● Hands-on skills in content creation for social—capturing content via iPhone/Android, basic editing of video and photo, writing captions, tagging, publishing to platforms, etc.
● Genuine passion and strong knowledge of social media and SiriusXM content
● Understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and native content formats.
● Ability to write engaging social copy and create content that reflects a distinct voice and tone.
● Interest in using analytics tools to measure performance and identify opportunities.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
● Comfort working on-site at events, in-studio with talent, or capturing behind-the-scenes content as needed.
● Experience with tools like Sprout or native platform analytics is a plus.
● Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
