About Us

Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death.

Nourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better, more easily, with our food as medicine platform. We connect people with a telehealth Registered Dietitian, food, and mobile app to improve their nutrition, all covered by health insurance. The Nourish mobile app provides a comprehensive approach to wellness through personalized visits with Registered Dietitians, medically-tailored meal delivery, health progress tracking, personalized content, meal logging, recipes / meal planning, AI chat, and more.

We launched three years ago and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. We are live in all 50 states.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $44M from top-tier VCs including Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, and Box Group, amongst others. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Lead, Consumer to build the next generation of Nourish’s patient experience. This role will own the consumer journey from onboarding through engagement and outcome-driving features, ensuring that every touchpoint is seamless, motivating, and world-class. You’ll be responsible for shipping high-impact features, from AI-powered nudges and insights to core logging and goal-setting improvements, that directly move engagement and outcomes.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is in the heart of Flatiron.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap, prioritization, and execution for onboarding, engagement, and outcome-driving features in the consumer app.
  • Build a world-class patient experience. Ensuring that every interaction feels intuitive, motivating, and clinically meaningful.
  • Partner with engineering, design, patients, and dietitans to build and ship both quick wins (e.g. habit nudges, onboarding improvements) and longer-term strategic bets (e.g. AI-powered personalization, advanced logging).
  • Define and track success metrics including D7/D28 retention, feature adoption, health outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
  • Run discovery, user research, and rapid experiments to continuously improve the consumer journey.
  • Collaborate closely with the existing Consumer team to ensure a seamless patient experience across activation, retention, and outcomes.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You have 5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years building consumer-facing mobile products.
  • You have 2+ years as a product manager at smaller-stage startups (seed → Series B, <200 employees at the time).
  • You’ve shipped consumer engagement and outcomes-oriented features that improved retention or health/behavior change metrics.
  • You’ve worked on AI-powered consumer features (personalization, nudges, recommendations, assistants).
  • You are analytical and data-oriented. You’re comfortable diving into data to uncover insights and inform our product vision and strategy.
  • You’re a builder. You love building and shipping new features and can take a project from 0 to 1, and then iterate to continuously improve.
  • You’re obsessed with your customers and craft. You care deeply about understanding our users and building a truly delightful and impactful experience for them.
