Responsibilities:Purpose:
The human resources recruiting role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and pre-boarding top talent to meet the growing needs of the organization. This position plays a key role in building a diverse and high-performing team that supports the business objectives and fosters a positive company culture.
As a Recruiting Specialist, you will manage full-cycle recruitment and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee requisitions from request to hire, including strategy development and job posting management.
- Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Source candidates through various channels and screen resumes to ensure alignment with role requirements.
- Interviewing & Offer Management: Coordinate pre-offer screenings, and manage verbal and written offers.
- ATS & Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System and report on recruitment metrics.
- Temporary & Contractor Staffing: Manage sourcing and onboarding for temporary staff and independent contractors.
- Employer Branding & Events: Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and community engagements.
- Candidate Experience: Communicate regularly with candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications:
Recruiting Specialist Requirements:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Communications or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- A minimum of 1-3 year of experience in a Human Resources recruiting role doing full-cycle recruitment.
- Experience working with ATS systems.
Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification
