About the Department
Position Duties
1. Load and operate a dump truck hauling dirt, rock, asphalt millings, etc.
2. Operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to loader, backhoe, skid steer, and trackhoe.
3. Operate sifting/recycling machine for debris.
4. Hauls trash to landfill and performs other various hauling needs for the department.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the candidate’s ability to perform successfully in this position will be considered.
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED issued from an approved GED Administrator.2. Minimum of three years relevant work experience.
3. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class A unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
