CPH is seeking a self-starter and organized individual with a strong skill set in BIM to serve in a dynamic opportunity as a Part-Time Architectural Intern in Tampa, FL. 

This role will provide a college-level student with viable professional experience to transition effectively upon graduation into a full-time position utilizing BIM with an Architectural focus.

- Comprehensive Position Overview - 

As the Part-Time Architectural Intern, you will be required to bring skill, self-motivation, and high attention to detail to support our team and staff. You will be joining an established, growing Architectural and Engineering Design Firm. CPH, Inc. is a multi-disciplined firm that provides its clients with complete services from project inception through construction. 

You will work cross-functionally in a team environment with engineers, architects, designers, and interior-focused designers alike. This position requires BIM proficiency to support the architecture team sufficiently with a diverse number of routine design tasks. 

For example, this Architectural Intern will utilize in-house templates existing in BIM and ensure the product team is following our CPH standards and principals.

This opportunity will expose an Intern to a wide array of industry facets from exercising top-tier quality control to ensuring optimal and timely client receipt of project deliverables meeting both deadlines and adhering to set budget. 

Other items will include development of general professionalism in the workplace with business acumen enabling one to easily navigate effective communication with teams, stakeholders, and clients. 

Other responsibilities will include routine management of digital assets ensuring functional and organized archive with accurate metadata. 

Coordinate with the project team to develop conceptual plans, construction documents, develop specifications, prepare schedules, and build 3D virtual models. 

What is required to fulfill this role?

  • Ideal candidate will be enrolled in an Architectural program pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • Willing to work as a team and have strong report writing and communication skills
  • BIM exposure/working knowledge is required with desire to learn more 
  • Candidate must have good command of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Photoshop and sketch-up experience not required, but preferable
