GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Lead clerical work.
 

Position Duties

Ability to process all court paperwork
Ability to calculate inmate's time
Ability to process first appearance paperwork
Ability to know the difference between court orders and/or conditions
Properly build an inmate's file
Multi-task
Prepare billing information
Answer and respond to e-mails and inmate's request
Prepare referral packets for State Attorney Office
Assist various departments within the agency
Read and understand a criminal history
Daily paperwork
Public information requests
Process of expungement and sealed inmate records
Inmate release paperwork
Destruction of paperwork
Communication and coordination with and receives data from outside agencies and in house departments
Daily Transportation List
Monitors keep – aways and annotates on the daily Transport list
Keep all information in the highest of confidentiality
All related duties as required
 
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:  Communicate using speaking, hearing and vision skills; use of data entry equipment; sit for extended periods.
 
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Office.
 
KNOWLEDGE OF: Business English, spelling, computer and office machines; geography and street location of the county.
 
ABILITY TO: Operate a computer; establish and maintain effective working relationships with officials, attorneys, co-workers and general public.
 
SKILLS:  Type, operate data entry equipment.
 

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or GED.  Four years’ experience with typing and data entry

Other Qualifications

ADDITIONAL:  Must pass a thorough background check including CVSA and physical exam.
