Job Description:Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Engineer / Station Designer to join our team. This role focuses on engineering and optimizing General Assembly (GA) workstations through a holistic approach, ensuring seamless integration of operators, materials, tooling, torque tools, and ICT interfaces. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, proven project management ability, and experience driving cross-functional collaboration to support efficient and high-quality production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineer and optimize GA workstations with a focus on operators, material flow, tooling, torque tools, and ICT interfaces.
Perform workstation quality audits to ensure readiness and compliance.
Facilitate team building and engage stakeholders regularly to plan and design workstations.
Collaborate across functions to identify, resolve, and track workstation-related issues in readiness management systems.
Manage and document workstation changes, including updates after scroll freeze.
Incorporate logistics and material display considerations into workstation design.
Assess operator footprint and integrate feedback from performance systems to optimize workstation layouts.
Support GA launch activities, including scroll development and workstation optimization.
Apply strong project management skills to deliver successful workstation solutions on time.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
3–5 years of experience in workstation design, industrial engineering, or production optimization.
Solid understanding of ergonomics, material flow, and operator interface requirements.
Experience with quality audit and readiness systems.
Strong documentation, change management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proven project management experience in a production or launch environment.
