Lead Environmental Excellence as a part of Our EVS Team!
Step into a hands-on Environmental Services Lead role where you'll work alongside your team while providing guidance and support to maintain pristine environments across all base area facilities. As an environmental services team lead, you'll serve as the bridge between frontline staff and management, assisting with daily custodial operations while ensuring lodges, bathrooms, and plaza areas exceed guest expectations through consistent, quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform comprehensive EVS operations and light building maintenance for base facilities including lodges, food and beverage outlets, bathrooms, and plaza areas while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Support guest safety excellence by maintaining snow-free plaza areas and assisting with mitigation of overhanging roof snow hazards in a timely, efficient manner.
- Provide peer leadership by working alongside staff, demonstrating best practices, answering questions, and maintaining visible presence that inspires quality performance and team cohesion.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members by demonstrating proper techniques, sharing knowledge, and helping them acclimate to their roles and responsibilities.
- Support operational flexibility by adapting to shift schedules that may begin in late afternoon and continue until facilities are properly closed and secured for optimal safety.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for team members during shifts, addressing immediate questions and escalating concerns to the EVS Supervisor as appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and communicating opportunities for enhancements to equipment, supplies, and procedures that optimize operational efficiency.
What we are looking for:
- Possess valid driver's license and maintain clean driving record essential for operational mobility and equipment operation responsibilities.
- Demonstrate capability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Excel in clear communication in English, both verbal and written, creating positive interactions with team members and guests through attentive, friendly, and hospitality-focused service.
- Demonstrate strong listening abilities and practical problem-solving skills to understand and address concerns from team members and guests effectively.

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $22.50 to $25.20/hr
This is a non-benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
