Description


Performs duties in the IT Department primarily by installation, troubleshooting and configuration, repair and maintenance of all IT related systems and equipment. Responsible for periodic maintenance of equipment for malfunctions as well as installing and maintenance of Class II and Class III Electronic Systems of the Casino. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Level I

  • Prepare, alter and maintains detailed maintenance schedules for all Hardware and Software applications.
  • Assists in preparation and installation of software and peripheral devices.
  • Monitors and controls inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Applies and adheres to all administrative and organization internal controls to ensure continuous compliance within the enterprise.
  • Uses judgment and make decisions when faced with equipment failure, error conditions, and/or software problems.
  • Prepares for action by management recommendations for acquisition of newly developed, additional or replacement equipment.
  • Coordinates equipment/software installation and maintenance activities with operations to avoid disruption in IT communications and systems to ensure efficiency of operations.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Has access to sensitive areas only with presence of Security Officer where applicable.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Display sensitivity to Native American Culture.
  • Operate within the parameters of the Little Creek Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.      

 

Requirements


 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • Two or more years of experience in computer operations or certification from technical school or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Experience with the following:  

  • Windows Server operations, 
  • Activity Directory, DNS, DHCP, 
  • VoIP phone systems, 
  • POS solutions, 
  • Player Tracking Systems, 
  • Basic Routing and Switching, and 
  • A firm understanding in Basic Hardware and Ethernet Standards is required.            

                  

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Class III Gaming License
  • Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
