Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 
The Lion’s Pantry Manager will serve as the primary support of the campus food pantry including, but not limited to purchasing, restocking pantry items, budgeting and quality control, coordination of food replenishment, and tracking and compiling statistics reports. This position is available during the academic year and academic breaks.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Assess and quantify food insecurity on campus through surveys and campus partner connections. 
• Implement an inventory management system for the food pantry including the purchasing, storage, and distribution of items. 
• Establish a process to maintain safe and efficient operation of the food pantry. 
• Keep accurate records concerning purchased items, number of students served, and other relevant metrics for regular reporting. 
• Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with student information and sensitive situations. 
• Purchase online, pick up, and/or arrange delivery for food pantry items purchased at grocery stores, big box stores, or the local food bank. (Aldi, Kwik Trip, Cub Foods) 
• Work with supervisor to develop a marketing and information plan for the food pantry.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 
• Hold a valid U.S. driver's and be a certified campus driver  
• Approved to physically live on campus during break 
• Ability to use appropriate concepts and tools to complete tasks 
• Customer service mindset 
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively with student driver and supervisor 
• Skill in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) 
• Must be a current St. Olaf student • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher 
• Must not be found in violation of any St. Olaf policies
