Description
The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft while complying with company and FAA rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Lead Mechanic.
- Comply with all company rules and regulations regarding industrial safety.
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with standard practices and procedures established by the Lead Mechanic and relevant manuals.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and the workplace in a clean and organized fashion.
- Perform job functions with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with piston-powered, General Aviation aircraft
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using computerized aircraft maintenance programs and manuals.
- Quantum MX proficiency is a plus.
- Able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Candidates must possess their own tools and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently with adherence to company policies.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred, but not required.
