Are you ready to make an impact with a people-first company that’s growing and evolving? Romac has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Accountant to partner closely with our Controller. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by preparing statements, performing reconciliations, posting journal entries, and supporting audits and tax filings. Your work will help maintain compliance with accounting standards, drive operational efficiency, and strengthen Romac’s financial foundation as we continue to advance sustainable water distribution and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with financial statement preparation
- Manage the fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, disposals, and tax depreciation
- Support external audits, year-end close, and annual budgeting activities
- Compile and submit state tax returns while providing data for federal filings
- Research GAAP updates, recommend process improvements, and support adoption of best practices
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with an ERP system (Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- CPA certification preferred
Base Compensation Range: $83,800 – $125,700. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
