POSITION SUMMARY

This role is primarily responsible for traveling to project worksites to assist in installation, provide technical support, and perform Start-up and Training for  Aquatix projects. With every project, the goal is to ensure customer satisfaction. Learn, teach, coach and assist others as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures all aspects of Aquatix installations and maintenance are carried out under our quality guidelines and installation specifications. 
  • Collaborate with design and engineering as needed, installation review, and client communications
  • Lead and facilitate structure and mechanical systems fabrication. 
  • Reviews schedule, job installation sequence, and project coordination professionally with client, general contractor, and project management/ Rep Partner.  
  • Facilitate planning and assessment for onsite work with the general contractor and project management/ Rep Partner.
  • Provide technical support regarding installations, mechanical systems operation and feature operation. 
  • Provide support and guidance to installers.
  • Provide Start-up and training services for projects. 
  • Ensure all needed travel arrangements for flights, hotels, car, per diem, etc.
  • At project completion organize documents for a job file with a site report, training log, and customer acceptance. 
  • Ability to perform proper root cause analysis and troubleshooting to solve system operational issues. 
  • Ensure successful resolution of rep and customer issues while being financially responsible. 
  • Provide exceptional service and exceed the needs for the customer. 
  • Communicate rep and customer feedback and ideas to the leadership team. 
  • When not travelling, assist with shop floor activities such as fabrication, crating, testing, etc. as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

ATTRIBUTES 

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external sales representatives (Reps), installers and clients. 
  • Ability to ask the right questions to understand a situation/ problem, seeking win-win solutions, think broadly. 
  • Ability to analyze, problem-solve and make decisions based on experience and independent judgment often with limited information and time.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction prints to aid in answering questions regarding product or site installation remotely. 
  • Good mechanical mindset and technical aptitude with ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. 
  • Good understanding of safe work practices in a construction environment.
  • Good conflict resolution skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for different levels of professionals, customer, and internal staff. 
  • Independent, dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to multitask and take action quickly. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Degree or GED required; Two-year AA Degree preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Manufacturing background is a plus. 
  • Experience in general construction and installation projects. 
  • Ability to travel (drive, fly, etc.) 50% of time and up to 100% during peak season.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must maintain a dependable and reliable work schedule and attendance record.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

ENVIRONMENTAL AND HAZARDOUS CHEMICAL RESPONSE/EXPOSURE

Awareness Level:

  • Use and comply with Safety data Sheets (SDS)
  • Knowledge of aspects and impacts for work area. 
  • Identify and report environmental incidents.
  • Comply with environmental and safety regulations. 
  • Follow job-specific instructions related to environmental aspects. 

The target hourly range is $29.00 - $34.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
