About the Role
- Servicing liaison for the upcoming sub-servicer transactions (data validation, data reconciliation & data mapping)
- Monthly call preparation for performance reviews and oversight decks (8-12 decks)
- Assist with process improvement implementation and daily tracking
- Assist with the creation of investor reporting for investors and participants
- Assist with Audit research and reporting deliverables
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the creation of internal policies and procedures for the investor and sub-servicer review process.
- Assist with the servicing, oversight, technology implementation, and integration.
- Assist with implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor the effectiveness of default strategies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary. Analyze default trends, customer behavior, and economic factors to develop effective default management strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on portfolio performance and present findings to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with research on market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to our lending portfolio. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in the industry.
- Assist with the creation and documentation of new processes and expanded procedures within the portfolio management team.
- Assist with the implementation and integration of new technology solutions within the team.
- Assist with the design of monitoring systems to detect and mitigate potential risk behaviors.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different departments, including but not limited to lending, underwriting, loan administration, and credit to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
What We Look For
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role in consumer finance, mortgage, or HELOC is required
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau) and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar)
- Working knowledge of bankruptcy terminology and requirements
- Advanced expertise in title theory, standing, and lien enforceability
- Good understanding of determining recoverability based on several loan attributes and external factors
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in analyzing complex problems and translating them into an analytical approach
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, partnership, and teamwork skills
- Experience with Loan Management Systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Accounting preferred) or equivalent preferred
Salary
- Compensation Range: $97,000 - $122,000
- 25 % annual bonus target, paid quarterly
- Equity RSU package
- This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
