PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Assistant to the CEO will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer of MyComputerCareer (MyCC). This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is committed to excellence in execution, and can anticipate needs before they arise. The individual must be able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment. The ideal candidate will be based in the Raleigh, NC area and able to work a hybrid schedule with flexibility to be onsite whenever the CEO is in the office.
What You’ll Do
Manage the CEO’s calendar and prioritize meetings and commitments.
Schedule internal and external meetings and conferences with accuracy and discretion.
Lead the coordination of company events, including executive meetings, offsites, and special functions.
Draft, review, and respond to emails on behalf of the CEO when needed.
Act as the main point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
Represent the CEO with professionalism, excellence, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Book and manage travel for the CEO and, when needed, for team members attending business meetings or events.
Join the CEO on travel as needed (approximately 20%), ensuring smooth coordination of logistics.
Prepare detailed travel itineraries and ensure all plans run smoothly.
Create presentations, reports, and briefing materials using Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets.
Handle expense reports, invoice approvals, and track related financial items for the CEO.
Keep executive files and documents organized and accessible.
Prepare agendas, materials, and notes for meetings.
Ensure the CEO is fully prepared for meetings and decisions by pulling together background information and key details when needed.
Track follow-up items from meetings and make sure they are completed on time.
Anticipate the CEO’s needs and solve scheduling, communication, or logistical issues before they become problems.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with external partners to keep communication and coordination running smoothly.
Safeguard all sensitive company and personal information with strict confidentiality.
Assist with special projects and assignments for the CEO.

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to represent the CEO with excellence and professionalism.
High level of judgment, initiative, and adaptability to rapidly changing needs.
Flexibility to adjust schedule to align with the CEO’s in-office presence in Raleigh, NC.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Industry experience (education, training, or management within a fast-paced, service-oriented environment) is a strong plus.
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other collaboration tools.
Comfortable leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline work, while maintaining careful oversight for accuracy and confidentiality.
