Summary:
The Assistant Director, Operations & Administration reports directly to JHH-COO. The Assistant Director works to implement the COO’s agenda by serving as lead project manager for initiatives and tasks advancing the clinical operations, efficiency, human capital and fiscal planning needs of the JHH. The position serves a point of contact on behalf of the COO for a range of key internal stakeholders (e.g. Administrators, Sr. Directors, Directors & Assistant Directors). The Assistant Director is responsible for managing and facilitating the identification, implementation and ongoing measurement of multiple, complex projects under limited guidance, which improve the effectiveness and quality of health care. The Assistant Director consistently applies improvement methodology coupled with change management strategies to projects to design new systems and processes while re-engineering existing processes and systems to improve operations and safety and quality of care. The Assistant Director will assist in creating a culture of continuous improvement by demonstrating a passion for change while managing multiple high-level projects.
Education: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or other relevant field is required.
Required Licensure Certification, etc. Six Sigma certification desirable.
Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in operations and administration in healthcare. Experience in supporting organizational change, Project Management, Change Management, Performance/Process Improvement is preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum 41.26/hour - Maximum 72.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
