- Lead the development and execution of corporate development strategies, including M&A, partnerships and investments.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic growth opportunities aligned with Masimo’s long-term vision and business objectives.
- Drive the end-to-end deal process, from target identification and due diligence through valuation, negotiation, and integration.
- Provide executive oversight for integration efforts, ensuring alignment of business, operational, and cultural priorities to maximize transaction value.
- Lead the company’s Long Range Plan process, incorporating market trends, strategic priorities, and financial objectives into a forward-looking roadmap for sustainable growth
- Act as a strategic business partner to U.S. Sales leadership, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic guidance to accelerate revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Serve as Project Leader for Oracle Finance implementation, driving system design, process optimization, change management, and successful deployment across the company.
- Develop robust business cases and financial models to support strategic recommendations and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to refine corporate strategy and ensure alignment of growth initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and trend forecasting to inform strategic planning and opportunity assessment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, investment banks, and industry stakeholders to enhance Masimo’s external network.
- Lead cross-functional teams during due diligence and post-merger integration, ensuring seamless execution and value realization.
- Present strategic recommendations and business development updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in business development, corporate strategy, M&A, or investment banking, preferably within the healthcare, medical device, or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its evolving market dynamics.
- Visionary and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and articulate long-term growth opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills for influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
