Registered Dental Hygienist
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: 110 Cheshire Lane #120, Minnetonka, MN, 55305
 

Position Highlights: 

As a Registered Dental Hygienist within our oral surgery network, you’ll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health through preventive and therapeutic services. You’ll collaborate closely with our surgeons, dental assistants, and administrative team to ensure every patient receives a comfortable and positive experience. By combining clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, you’ll contribute to maintaining high standards of care and fostering strong relationships with patients and referring dentists. 

  • Perform comprehensive oral health assessments, including charting, periodontal probing, and radiographic imaging.
  • Administer prophylactic and therapeutic treatments, such as scaling and root planning, fluoride application, and sealant placement.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive care.
  • Assist in preparing patients for oral surgery procedures by reviewing medical histories and providing pre- and post-operative instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Support the maintenance of a clean, safe, and well-organized clinical environment, adhering to OSHA and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing within the state of employment.
  • Proficiency in using dental technology and electronic health records.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Knowledge of periodontal care, preventive dentistry, and oral surgery preparation.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration.
  • Experience in an oral surgery or specialty dental practice.
