This position sits within our Talent Strategy team reporting to the Director of Talent Strategy. You will work on-site at UDR headquarters located in Highlands Ranch, CO, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
The Responsibilities:
- Reimagine and lead UDR’s talent acquisition strategy, evolving from traditional recruiting to a dynamic, tech-enabled model that fuels business growth and future workforce needs.
- Act as a trusted coach to hiring managers and executives, guiding decision-making with market insights, talent data, and organizational context.
- Stay curious and connected, continually scan external trends, competitor moves, and evolving candidate behaviors to inform and refine our talent playbook.
- Leverage advanced tools, sourcing strategies, and platforms to build diverse pipelines and engage top-tier talent.
- Translate data into action, own recruiting analytics, monitor key performance indicators (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health), and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong, consultative partnerships with leaders across the organization, facilitating strategic talent planning and aligning hiring priorities to business goals.
- Champion UDR’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and support employer branding efforts that amplify our presence in the talent marketplace.
- Streamline and scale recruiting operations, standardizing workflows and optimizing for both high-volume and niche hiring across the enterprise.
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience rooted in rigor, values alignment, and professionalism throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Manage the TA budget and allocate resources to drive efficiency, innovation, and measurable hiring outcomes.

The Other Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including executive-level searches, with a track record of leading end-to-end hiring strategies.
- Proven experience in corporate and retained search environments.
- Strong knowledge of pre-hire assessment tools, hiring compliance, and recruiting technologies (including ATS).
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a data-first mindset; you know how to turn numbers into narratives.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A results-oriented approach with strong prioritization, project management, and follow-through.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.

Salary Range:
• $130,000.00/yr. – $145,000.00/yr., depends on experience
Bonus Potential:
• Eligible for 15% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance
