The People and Culture Generalist is primarily responsible for payroll processing and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all payroll functions. In addition, this position supports daily HR operations including employee status changes, the full termination process, and administrative tasks that maintain accurate records. The role works closely with the People and Culture team and other departments to promote efficiency, accuracy, and a consistent employee experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Process and report payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage employee status change forms and updates in HR systems.
  • Code and process invoices in alignment with company procedures.
  • Own the entire termination process, ensuring proper documentation and compliance while avoiding delays or duplicate work.
  • Perform administrative tasks including scanning, uploading, and maintaining documents in Paylocity.
  • Provide general HR support across employee lifecycle functions as needed.

Requirements

  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 2+ years of experience in Payroll processing 
  • Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems, preferably Paylocity.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations and compliance best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
