ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strategic Analytics Leadership – Develop and execute a global procurement analytics strategy that supports organizational goals, cost optimization, and supplier performance excellence.
  • Data-Driven Decision Enablement – Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of internal and external data to provide actionable insights for sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Procurement Performance Management – Establish and monitor KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards to track procurement effectiveness, cost savings, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Advanced Analytics & Digital Enablement – Lead deployment of advanced analytics tools, predictive modeling, AI/ML applications, and market intelligence platforms.
  • Supplier & Market Intelligence – Direct development of supplier performance analytics, risk assessments, and market trend analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership – Partner with internal stakeholders to align analytics with enterprise priorities and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Identify and implement process optimization and automation opportunities to improve agility and efficiency.
  • Global Team Leadership – provide best in class analytic insights, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Governance & Compliance – Ensure analytics processes adhere to policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Change Management & Communication. Champion analytics adoption through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and training.

EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership - Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in global supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Global Procurement Analytics Expertise - Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide procurement analytics programs, including spend analysis, supplier performance management, cost modeling, and category strategy optimization.
  • Advanced Data & Technology Proficiency – Proven track record implementing advanced analytics platforms, data visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI), ERP tools (Thrive, Athena), and procurement technologies (e.g. COUPA, ENVI).
  • Strategic Decision Support – Experience translating complex data into actionable strategies that improve procurement efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and drive business value across global operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Strong history of partnering with finance, operations, IT, and legal teams to align procurement analytics with corporate strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Supplier & Market Intelligence – Expertise in applying data-driven insights to supplier negotiations, market trend analysis, and risk assessment for improved sourcing outcomes.
  • Change Leadership – Successful track record driving organizational adoption of analytics tools, processes, and data-driven decision-making cultures.
  • Global & Multi-Cultural Environment – Proven ability to navigate diverse regulatory, cultural, and market conditions to deliver consistent procurement analytics value worldwide.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Understanding of business operational processes that include Accounting and Finance (Accounts Receivable/Payable, Financial Close, Budgeting/Forecasting), Supply Chain and Human Resources.
  • Expert knowledge in Data Analytic techniques, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of technology infrastructure, databases, interfaces, and APIs.
  • Expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations, strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of spend analytics, cost modeling, supplier scorecards, KPI frameworks, and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel).

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or related field required; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
