What you will do:
- Facilitate the seamless transition of existing GLH&C client accounts from retiring senior advisors, ensuring continuity of service and client satisfaction
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships within the first year, while actively developing new client leads to the business growing.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by facilitating account transitions from retiring advisors, collaborating with internal affiliates and senior advisors to identify new business opportunities, and actively generating qualified leads across investment and broker/dealer offerings.
Create customized Investment Policy Statements by assessing client goals and recommending tailored financial solutions.
Manage the account onboarding process by collaborating with operations team to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Engage directly with clients to present financial strategies, complete necessary paperwork, and oversee implementation of solutions.
Deliver timely and accurate reporting to clients, maintaining transparency and trust throughout the financial planning process.
Drive business growth by conducting client reviews focused on increasing assets under management and offering appropriate financial product and investment services.
Initiate proactive outreach to prospects and existing clients to foster new business development and expand client portfolios.
Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and relatable manner, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates to ensure alignment with best practices and maintain a high standard of compliance.
Organize and facilitate client-focused workshops and seminars to educate, engage, and attract prospective clients.
Drive ongoing improvements by proactively identifying ways to elevate service delivery and streamline operational processes.
Leverage financial technology tools and stay current with evolving software platforms to optimize client service.
Demonstrate a commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity by consistently aligning client interactions with company values and policies
What you need to have:
To perform this job successfully, the Financial Planning Consultant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills, and ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years in financial planning, investment advisory, or related areas, with at least 4 years of hands-on client-facing experience.
- Active FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, along with a valid Life Insurance license.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation strongly preferred, and ability to obtain within 2 years after hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and internet-based research tools.
- Experience using financial planning software platforms
Compensation:
The base annual salary range for this role is $100,000-$110,000 and a generous incentive compensation package. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
