It is a standard outpatient clinic with roughly 80 exam rooms. The clinic is subdivided into 5 teams that provide care primarily from Monday through Friday from 7:30 in the morning until about 4 PM in the afternoon. There are portions of the clinic that start earlier and providers frequently will choose to do four 10 hour days at the descression of clinic leadership. In these cases, providers perform video visits later in the day. Our care is a mix of in person and video encounters. There are voluntary opportunities to shift the work schedule to start later and go into the evening or even work on weekends if it supports the patient care mission. Providers can expect to see 14-16 appointments per day though this can be less depending on other administrative responsibilities. Every other week there is a medical lecture for providers from 1500-1600 in the afternoon and it is expected that all providers attend.
