The Project Manager position is a key role at First Community and affords a rewarding career with competitive pay and excellent benefits. REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and has three years of related work experience with progressively responsible duties. Experience working in a financial institution is a plus.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude, professional image, and be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with exceptional interpersonal communications skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead projects during all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept formulation through design, development, integration, testing, and delivery.
- Work with project team to plan, organize, and assign project staff; communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations to the project team.
- Conduct regular project meetings through video conferencing, as needed during the project lifecycle. Effectively communicate with project participants.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, including documenting key milestones and critical path tracking. Escalate issues with project schedules to management.
- May research and implement software technology utilized for scheduling and tracking milestones to ensure project completion is achieved within timeframe.
- Is a strong leader, adept at facilitating cross-functional collaboration and implementing process improvements.
- Performs special assignments for the organization which requires researching and collecting information needed to complete projects and reports.
- Ensure project deadlines are met, allocating resources based on changing priorities from management, as required. Communicating resource limitations and conflicts with management.
- Create and/or edit and produce various documents including correspondence, proposals, and presentations. Create dashboard reports, to summarize project timelines and to highlight any problems, to be shared with management.
- Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and in writing, both with First Community employees and third-parties.
- Hold employees and third-parties accountable for project timelines.
- Represents the Credit Union with honesty, integrity and trust at all times.
- Adheres to established internal policies and procedures for compliance. Completes required compliance training in a timely manner and complies with all regulations within scope of the position.
- Adheres to the bank secrecy Act, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act and anti-money laundering regulation.

- Demonstrate the ability to handle various situations and issues as they relate to employees, management, members, volunteers, vendors, and others encountered in the daily operations of the Credit Union.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Potential exposure to the threat of violence at any time.
- Occasional business travel may be required.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time may be required.
- Repetitive motions and extensive keyboarding may be required.
