Who are we looking for?
Our Central US Water business is growing throughout Texas! We're looking for a Senior Project Manager with expertise in water and wastewater conveyance systems to lead complex infrastructure projects. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing design and construction phases, and ensuring successful delivery of pipeline, pump station, and related conveyance projects.
You will also work with a team to support client development and strategic growth of the business both locally and regionally. The purpose is to build credible relationships with clients, teaming partners, and the community. This position will require a strong ability to manage and progress multiple fronts that require long-term development and commitment.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Lead planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater conveyance projects, including pipelines, force mains, gravity sewers, and pump stations.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control across all phases.
- Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, contractors, and internal technical teams.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support permitting and environmental documentation processes.Conducts work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements. Participates in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers.
- Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop schedules for design and construction of assigned projects
- Provide mentoring to engineering staff to support the team's technical skill development
- Manage projects’ budget and schedule
- Lead proposal development efforts for new business
- Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients; this includes business development, sales and marketing
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in environmental or civil engineering
- Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire upon six months of hiring date
- 10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects in the Central US region; preference to 10 years of experience in the Texas market
- Significant experience in de-salination plants, water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump station
- Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail, schedule and budget
- Ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory/permitting agencies including TCEQ, and EPA
