Job Title: HR Generalist (Bilingual)

Location: High Bridge, NJ, 100% on-site; No Remote Option Available
Pay Range: $60,000-68,000
Summary
HR professional fluent in two languages (English and Spanish) who supports a wide range of human resources duties including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration for our diverse workforce. The role requires strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and knowledge of HR policies and labor laws to effectively support all employees and foster an inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Translate and interpret HR documents, policies, and conversations to ensure all employees understand their rights, responsibilities, and available resources.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires in both languages ensure a smooth onboarding.
- Serve as a resource for employees, addressing their concerns, coaching them on performance and resolving workplace conflicts.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding benefits, process claims, and maintain accurate employee records in HRIS.
- Conduct, coordinate, and track employee training sessions, communicate with managers to ensure completion.
- Assist in develop of programs to meet business needs and support talent management initiatives.
- Identifying skill gaps through needs analyses, sourcing external training providers, and evaluating program effectiveness to improve employee skills and productivity.
- Implementing initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement and contribute to a healthy and productive workplace.
- Maintaining accurate employee time and attendance records in HRIS, timely communication with management and payroll for any adjustments.
- Managing driver compliance and policy records.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Mastery of two languages is a fundamental requirement.
- Strong communication and ability to build trust and positive relationships with employees/management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing recruitment needs.
- Meticulous attention to detail for managing records, analyzing HR data, and supporting various HR projects.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to managing tasks and resolving issues.
- Proficient in HRIS systems (preferably ADP)
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years experience in an HR support role.
- Experienced in performing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration and employee relations.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR policies.
