Schedule: Evening Shift| Mon – Fri, 4:45 PM – 1:15 AM
Hiring Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Puyallup Tribal Health Authority (PTHA) is hiring an emergency hire Environmental Services Technician to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. While this is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible position, it's an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, showcase your skills, and potentially grow into future opportunities within the organization.
What You’ll Do:
As an Environmental Services Technician, you'll conduct hands-on work, keeping spaces clean and comfortable.
- Provide daily cleaning services for offices, patient areas, bathrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces
- Maintain high sanitation standards to support infection control across the clinic
- Collect and properly dispose of biohazard containers
- Transport trash and soiled linen; distribute fresh linen as needed
- Sanitize reception desks, public furniture, and restrooms regularly
- Refill hand sanitizer stations and restock supplies
- Clean kitchen/lounge areas, including refrigerators, microwaves, counters, and floors
- Assist with moving furniture and spot-cleaning carpets as needed
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) months housecleaning or janitorial experience experience
- Ability to work around contagious diseases/viruses following safety guidelines
